Lichtstrahl 123 - It is Jesus, the Prophet

​LICHTSTRAHL 123            GOSPEL: Matthew 21 (1-11)           PALMSUNDAY        2. 4 2023
IT IS JESUS, THE PROPHET
 
 
Dear friends!
 
If  words of true prophecy are not taken serious, that can lead towards great tragedies and suffering. 
 
The true prophecy about the revelation of the King of the Jews, the Messiah had been, that he would ride on an ass and on the foal and that he would enter into the city of Jerusalem through the socalled Golden Gate.  Exactly that, which had been prophecied for hundreds of years, happened on the day we call Palmsunday:  the long awaited Messiah entered into the city of Jerusalem riding on an ass and the foal.  Without thinking, with wide open hearts the message of the prophets was remembered, heard and taken serious. And so Jesus was greeted and celebrated by the crowds as their prophecied kind and saviour.  They started strewing palmbranches and lay their garments on the road to welcome him.  
 
But very quickly doubt entered,  the far reaching importance of the moment faded away,  the hearts closed up again and the same crowd changed their minds.   They diminished the truth into nothingness by saying:  It is Jesus, the prophet from Galilee!  No word or thought of a king any more.  With this ignorance towards the truth growing speedily around him, Jesus had to enter into the darkest week in his life, the most challenging encounter with the dark forces of death in utter loneliness.
 
In our time there excists a prophecy too:  It becomes more and more relevant and real with all the signs, that are now appearing on the earth – be it the climate change, be it illness, be it the abyss of total immorality – it does not matter.  It has been prophecied by the Christ Jesus himself, that all this is going to happen.  He prophecied it to his disciples three days before his crucifiction. We can read about that in the 21st chapter of Luke.  It is stated very clearly there, what is going to happen in the future and what  these phenomena are revealing. And he also revealed very clearly the  reason why all this is happening.  The reason is the coming of the Son of Man in the clouds, the second coming of the Christ, the coming of the Christ in the aetheric.
The ignorance towards the truth of this prophecy is immense among the Christians.  And so the crowds are saying all kinds of things, they have all kinds of explanations and reasoning for what is happening.  And in contrast to the Jewish people on Palmsunday in Jerusalem two thousand years ago, the crowds today have no access to the important words of prophecy in the 21st chapter of the gospel of Luke.  They do not know that they excist.  Either they are not known at all, or they are misinterpreted or misused to create fear and anxiety. 
 
If the ignorance about the truth and weight of the prophecies of the second coming of the Christ is not enlightened, the encounter of humanity with darkness  is going to be very dark and tragic.  The ray of the grave of hope, penetrating our eye, is the growing awareness in humanity of what is truely happening and has been prophecied nearly 2000 years ago.
