Lichstrahl 110 - The whole of the earth will be shaken

​LICHTSTRAHL 110     GOSPEL:  Luke 21 (25-36)                                          ADVENT 4.12.22
THE WHOLE OF THE EARTH WILL BE SHAKEN
 
Dear friends!                                
 
During the past year we have spent many hours gathering in our congregation contemplating on the question of the second coming of the Christ, the coming of the Christ in the aetheric world.  And we had the question:  What has the founding of a renewed religious movement on the 16th of September 1922 got to do with that reality?  Why is it very clear, that we are nearing a crucial point in the development of our own personal relationship to leading a religious life in the name of the Christ, to connecting to our most inner being and its development?  Our thinking and feeling have been awakened through these contemplations, with which we meant to prepare ourselves for the celebration year of the 100th anniversary of the Christian Community movement.  But it is far more than that.
 
During these contemplations we have focused intensely on one aspect of the words of Jesus Christ, that we have heard in today’s gospel reading.  They clearly turn into reality today – the words of something breaking in over the whole earth with the might of the sea and its surging waves.  That everything will come into motion. 
 
Observing a phenomenon on the seashores is helpful to imagine this universal motion:  No stone stays where it was lying on the beach, when the waves hit it.  Every single stone is tumbled and reshaped in an endless process of movement of the seawater and its waves, whether they lie in heaps or just on their own – they are all tumbled.
 
Do we realize that this reshaping is taking place in our lives in every sphere we are living in?
Nothing stays as it was, everything is tumbled.  We notice it
 

• physically in the state of our general health and the condition of our earthly body,
• etherically in the question of daily rhythms, lifeforces and ability to remember
• soulwise in having to face many attacks but at the same time witness a new determination to face these attacks and confront them with consciousness 
• finally in our spiritual capacity in waking up to the realities of a supersensible world and starting to think different thoughts about this reality.

 
We are free to either be like a stone on the beach being reshaped over a long period of time and just accept that.  We can choose to either just see it as part of a natural process or to look at the spiritual realities that lie behind all this.  THEN THE SON OF MAN WILL APPEAR TO SEEING SOULS (Luke 21, 27)   The truth IS, that a very crucial point of our own development, our religious foundation in life and our personal encounter with the Christ being is nearing. And so we have not only prepared something very valuable during our contemplation times about the second coming of the Christ, His coming in the world of the aetheric for our 100th anniversary but for the future that will come about the whole of humankind.
