CHRISTMAS FAMILY FAIR 2011
An annual event, the Community work in small groups making jams, marmalade, candles, toys, Christmas Cards and much more.The Fair in 2011 made use of a large tent in which children's games were played - old fashioned games like pin-the-tail-on-the donkey, eat an apple out the tub of water, and many more. There was star folding (adults loved this), candle making (here even tiny tots dipped their candles in the many different colours) and a magician show. A huge team effort went into providing healthy lunches for visitors, cakes and coffee, cakes and homemade baked breads for sale, ongoing melodies from the piano and a bookstore .... In 2012 the Fair will be on the 3rd November, so see you there!
